Fundraising
While our sponsorship programme and membership scheme form our main activities, HVP UK continually works to raise funds to support the on-going development of the HVP schools in Nepal.
Through collecting donations from generous and willing supporters and encouraging our members to carry out their own fundraising activities, HVP UK has been able to contribute significantly to the successful development of the HVP movement. We continue to raise funds to support projects in Nepal. For more information, see our Key Achievements section
Unlike some other charities, we are small, informal and staffed and coordinated entirely by a network of committed unpaid volunteers, who help out in their free time as and when they can. We spend very little money on administration and much of these costs are borne personally by our volunteers. We are much different to the big players so we really need your help.
Why not consider helping HVP by making a donation? You can donate to fund a specific appeal such as funding the purchase of classroom materials, helping improve basic school infrastructure, or by making a general donation to help the work of the schools. We are grateful for any amount you can give us.
