Chintamani Yogi's visit to the UK - January 09
Early this year HVP UK was lucky enough to host an inspiring visit from HVP's Founder and Spiritual leader Sri Chintamani Yogi Ji. Invited to play a lead role in a conference in Switzerland, Mr Yogi took the opportunity while in Europe to visit the UK to renew old acquaintances, catch up with friends and supporters, and reinvigorate HVP UK supporters and Committee members with news of exciting developments and future plans for projects in Nepal.
Highlights of CM Yogi Ji's trip included visits to Cambridge and Durham Universities to meet up with students who have taught as volunteers in the HVP schools, various visits to schools to forge links and observe UK teaching practices, and making a star guest appearance at an HVP UK Social event in Euston, London. During Mr Yogi's visit a meeting of HVP UK's Committee was held in London, and it was a valuable opportunity for Mr Yogi to feed into decisions made, and update the Committee on current activities and projects in Nepal.
